FFP Masks: Do They Really Protect – and How Much?

ARCHALAB Srl, the new name of the analysis laboratory of the ARCHA group, has obtained accreditation for several tests required by UNI EN 149:2009 for respiratory PPE masks (FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3, depending on the level of protection).

To ensure safe protection and high-quality production, we provide both a laboratory equipped with instruments compliant with the standard and the technical expertise of our staff.

We have obtained ACCREDITATION for the following tests (with more to follow):

  • Penetration of filter material (PFE) with Sodium Chloride

    UNI EN 149:2009 § 8.11 + UNI EN 13274-7:2019 (excluding § 6)

  • Penetration of filter material (PFE) with Paraffin Oil

    UNI EN 149:2009 § 8.11 + UNI EN 13274-7:2019 (excluding § 7)

  • Breathing resistance

    UNI EN 149:2009 § 8.9

  • Practical performance tests

    UNI EN 149:2009 § 8.4
